They can receive, evaluate, and rapidly act on feedback.
How We Invest
Check Size
We write checks up to $1.5 million and we typically lead Seed rounds. We also reserve a portion of our investment for follow-on funding in later rounds. We do limited pre-seed investments alongside trusted investors from our network.
Industry Focus
Though we are generally sector agnostic, our team has a strong expertise and preference for software, tech, and tech-enabled companies. There are a few areas where we will not invest, including cryptocurrencies & NFTs, professional services & agencies, brick & mortar retail, physical spaces, food & beverages, gambling, and cannabis & tobacco.
Traction
Your company should be post-product with some proof points around market acceptance. If you haven't hit these milestones yet, you're likely too early for us. But if you feel strongly that you'd be a good fit, feel free to explain that when you submit your pitch.
Geography
We currently only invest in the United States and Canada. We cannot invest outside of these areas.
